Following the acquisition of Barnett Bank, NationsBank (now Bank of America) needed to convert Barnett Treasury Management customers to NationsBank software systems. There were three distinct customer groups, five different products, thousands of new customers and a deadline. As they had in past acquisitions, NationsBank turned to NEW SOUTH to produce and distribute the deliverables.

In addition to the software kits which any new customer might receive, additional information for the conversion of existing data was required to give customers uninterrupted service. Packets of instructions and security information were designed, printed, customized for each customer and packaged with three types of software. Packages were shipped under the bank's label and all deliveries were verified.

Customer data is always in flux. People change jobs, businesses move, needs change. As customer lists were received, they were checked for accuracy, updated and exported for Airborne Express shipment, resulting in a successful conversion.
